A 10 Day Prayer for Love: 1 Corinthians 13
Remember Valentine’s Day?
As kids, Valentine’s Day was a time of nervousness and excitement as we exchanged and received cards and gifts in secret. As adults, Valentine’s Day can be a helpful reminder to be more intentional in how we love one another. One of the most famous passages on love is found in 1 Corinthians 13. Read it closely then let it guide your responsive prayer back to God.
1 Corinthians 13:4–7 “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (ESV)
