The Old Testament is Needed and Useful
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it [15] and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. [16] All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

- The Old Is In the New Revealed
Discover the Unchanging Character of God
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)
-Holiness - “For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.”
(Hebrews 9:24)
-Sovereignty – He Is In Control - “You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, [8] putting everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.” (Hebrews 2:7-8 ESV)
-Mercy & Forgiveness - “For I the LORD do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.” (Malachi 3:6 ESV)
-Grace & Blessings - “For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12 ESV)
